Rod Brind’Amour, from Campbell River, BC, was drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the first round of the 1988 NHL draft after starring with Michigan State of the CCHA. Brind’Amour played 20 seasons in the NHL, 1484 NHL games scoring 452 goals and 732 assists.

Rod represented Canada on numerous occasions, including the World Juniors, World Championships and Olympics. The former Captain of the Carolina Hurricanes won a Stanley Cup in 2006 and was the recipient of the Selke Trophy. Rod is currently a member of the Management team with the NHL Carolina Hurricanes.
